WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF UPGRADING A CHARACTER CARD?

Different characters give different bonuses: and by upgrading them you increase their respective bonuses:

Diego, despite being new to the underworld lifestyle of the Cartel, is a character who boosts your Firepower, evidenced by the   pistol icon in the top left corner of his card, which is useful during the Lock & Load mini-game played at the end of every Chapter.

Global Profitability Boosts

Rosario, a young lady driven by fear for her family who harnesses her wits to stay afloat, is a character that grants you a global profit boost on all businesses, evidenced by the small globe icon  on the top left corner of her character card). She also grants you an increased Speed boost on all businesses (evidenced by the small clock icon   located in her character menu).

Cash

Chulo, Rosario’s younger brother and new recruit of the cartel, grants you a global profit boost on all businesses (evidenced by the small globe icon on the top left corner of his character card). He also grants you increased Cash Flow (evidenced by the small cash icon  located in his character menu).
