You can always upgrade your Business by spending some extra Gold Bars, even if you have not yet collected enough product & replicate cards. The process is the same whether you are short of Cards, Product, or both: tap on your Business button located on the bottom left of the main game screen.
Upon entering the Business Menu, tap on the green button of the relevant Business in question.
Upon entering the Upgrade menu of the specific business you will find (A) the rate of profitability increase upon making the upgrade, (1) the number of cards required (as evidenced in the above image you are lacking the appropriate number of cards) & the amount of Product you need for the upgrade (2). In this instance, you have the right amount of Product so tap on the Upgrade button.
You will be prompted by the ‘Upgrade Confirmation’ window which highlights the number of cards you will get in exchange for Gold Bars. Tap on the green buy button.
